Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم as saying: Allah likes sneezing but dislikes yawning. So when one of you yawns, he should restrain it as much as possible, and should not say Ha, Ha, for that is from the devil who laughs at him.

Narrated Abu Hurairah: When the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم sneezed, he placed his hand or a garment on his mouth, and lessened the noise. The transmitter Yahya is doubtful about the exact words khafada or ghadda (lessened).
