حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ يَزِيدَ الرَّقَاشِيِّ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ اعْتَبِرُوهَا بِأَسْمَائِهَا،‏‏‏‏ وَكَنُّوهَا بِكُنَاهَا،‏‏‏‏ وَالرُّؤْيَا لِأَوَّلِ عَابِرٍ .

Hadith in Urdu

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم خواب کی تعبیر اس کے نام اور کنیت کی روشنی میں بتایا کرو، اور اس کی تعبیر سب سے پہلے بتانے والے کے مطابق ہوتی ہے ۔

Hadith in English

It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Interpret them (dreams) in accordance with the names of the things you see, and understand what is hinted at, and the dream is for the first interpreter.” .
