حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرٌو، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ سَالِمًا الْفَرَّاءَ حَدَّثَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ عَبْدَ الْحَمِيدِمَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ حَدَّثَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ أُمَّهُ حَدَّثَتْهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَكَانَتْ تَخْدِمُ بَعْضَ بَنَاتِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ ابْنَةَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَدَّثَتْهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُعَلِّمُهَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَيَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ قُولِي حِينَ تُصْبِحِينَ:‏‏‏‏ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ كَانَ وَمَا لَمْ يَشَأْ لَمْ يَكُنْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ قَالَهُنَّ حِينَ يُصْبِحُ:‏‏‏‏ حُفِظَ حَتَّى يُمْسِيَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَنْ قَالَهُنَّ حِينَ يُمْسِي:‏‏‏‏ حُفِظَ حَتَّى يُصْبِحَ .

Hadith in Urdu

ان کی ماں نے جو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی کسی بیٹی کی خدمت میں رہا کرتی تھیں انہیں بتایا کہ ان کی صاحبزادی نے انہیں بتایا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم انہیں سکھاتے تھے کہ جب تم صبح کرو تو کہو «سبحان الله وبحمده لا قوة إلا بالله ما شاء الله كان وما لم يشأ لم يكن أعلم أن الله على كل شىء قدير وأن الله قد أحاط بكل شىء علما» میں اللہ کی پاکی بیان کرتا، اور اس کی تعریف کرتا ہوں، کسی میں طاقت نہیں سوائے اللہ کے، جو اللہ چاہے گا وہی ہو گا، اور جو وہ نہیں چاہے وہ نہیں ہو گا، میں جانتا ہوں کہ اللہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے، اور اللہ اپنے علم سے ہر چیز کو محیط ہے جو شخص ان کلمات کو صبح کے وقت کہے گا اس کی ( اللہ کی طرف سے ) شام تک حفاظت کی جائے گی، اور جو شام کے وقت کہے گا اس کی صبح تک۔

Hadith in English

Narrated Daughter of the Prophet: AbdulHamid, a client of Banu Hashim, said that his mother who served some of the daughters of the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم told him that one of the daughters of the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said that the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم used to teach her saying: Say in the morning: Glory be to Allah, and I begin with praise of Him; there is no power but in Allah ; what Allah wills comes to pass and what He does not will does not come to pass; I know that Allah is Omnipotent and that Allah has comprehended everything in knowledge ; for whoever says it in the morning will be guarded till the evening, and whoever says it in the evening will be guarded till the morning. .
