Hadith in Arabic

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ اتَّقُوا اللَّاعِنَيْنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ وَمَا اللَّاعِنَانِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ الَّذِي يَتَخَلَّى فِي طَرِيقِ النَّاسِ أَوْ ظِلِّهِمْ .

Hadith in Urdu

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم لعنت کے دو کاموں سے بچو ، لوگوں نے پوچھا: اللہ کے رسول! لعنت کے وہ دو کام کیا ہیں؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: وہ یہ ہیں کہ آدمی لوگوں کے راستے یا ان کے سائے کی جگہ میں پاخانہ کرے ۱؎ ۔

Hadith in English

Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم as saying: Be on your guard against two things which provoke cursing. They (the hearers) said: Prophet of Allaah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم, what are these things which provoke cursing: easing in the watering places and on the thoroughfares, and in the shade (of the tree) (where they take shelter and rest). .
