Hadith in Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو ، سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، يَقُولُ : اصْطَبَحَ نَاسٌ الْخَمْرَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ ، ثُمَّ قُتِلُوا شُهَدَاءَ ، فَقِيلَ لِسُفْيَانَ : مِنْ آخِرِ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ ، قَالَ : لَيْسَ هَذَا فِيهِ .
Hadith in Urdu
کچھ صحابہ نے جنگ احد کے دن صبح کے وقت شراب پی ( راوی حدیث ) سے پوچھا گیا کیا اسی دن کے آخری حصے میں ( ان کی شہادت ہوئی ) تھی جس دن انہوں نے شراب پی تھی؟ تو انہوں نے جواب دیا کہ حدیث میں اس کا کوئی ذکر نہیں ہے۔
Hadith in English
Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah: Some people drank alcohol in the morning of the day (of the battle) of Uhud and were martyred (on the same day). Sufyan was asked, (Were they martyred) in the last part of the day?) He replied, Such information does not occur in the narration. .
